The Story of Alep

A creative studio built out of
Responsibility.

The studio initially was born to write a new chapter for many Syrians who are rebuilding their businesses away from their homeland after the conflicts that changed the country's route. They brought expertise and the remains of their old companies, but settling down a business in a new country can be challenging.

Started as Concept

Before alep, the studio started as Concept.

It began naturally, helping small businesses with their first basic needs: a logo, a name, a menu, a sign, a simple identity. It was the beginning of our language. The first experiments. The first clients.

Concept was not the final name. It was the first step.

Before the studio, there was Aleppo.

In 2016, Aleppo was passing through one of the darkest moments in its history. The Guardian described it as "the worst place in the world?" — a city seen through conflict, destruction, and displacement.

But for us, Aleppo carried far more than that — a city of culture, trade, craft, textiles, music, and art. Syrians who resettled abroad carried that spirit with them.

So the purpose became clear: to tell another story about where we came from.

The studio began taking shape between Istanbul and Cairo — two cities that gave the idea its first ground, its first clients, and its first real movement.
