A contemporary coffee house by Rayahen, designed around the comfort of everyday rituals, warm hospitality, and moments taken at an easier pace.


A Familiar Name, A New Experience
WHERE CALM MEETS COFFEE

Known for its long-standing relationship with coffee, roasting, nuts, and everyday hospitality, Rayahen introduced Coffee House as a newexpression of the brand.
Alep developed the branding and interior experience, translating the familiarity of Rayahen into a calmer, more contemporary destinationfor coffee, conversation, and daily pauses.
Design Narrative
The concept builds on what people already recognise in Rayahen, while opening the brand to a more complete hospitalityexperience.
Coffee is no longer presented only as a product to purchase, but as a ritual to slow down for—served within a space designedfor staying, meeting, working, and reconnecting.
A NEW FORMAT, ROOTED IN AN ESTABLISHED BRAND.
The Cairo landscape became part of the visual narrative, connecting the Coffee House to the rhythm and character of the cityit serves.
Illustrated with a light and understated approach, the skyline reflects a familiar Cairo seen from a quieterperspective—supporting the idea of Rayahen as a pause within the movement of everyday life.




A calm palette, delicate illustrations, restrained typography, and thoughtful packaging create a visual language that feels contemporarywhile remaining connected to the trust and familiarity of the parent brand.
Designed Around the Daily Ritual


The interior was shaped around how people naturally experience a coffee house—from ordering and waiting to sitting, meeting, and staying for longer moments.
Curved seating encourages a more relaxed flow, while the extended counter creates a clear focal point for service and product display. Warm lighting, softmaterials, greenery, and controlled detailing give the space a calm and welcoming character.
The space supports different rhythmsthroughout the day: a quick morningcoffee, a quiet moment alone, aninformal meeting, or a longer gathering.Open seating, intimate corners,accessible service, and clearmovement were brought together tomake the experience feel comfortable,intuitive, and unforced.This is important because the projectis not only interior design; it shows thatAlep considered how people use the
